Small Businesses In Culver City I Love...

Updated: Jan 30, 2023

As an artist you are so affected by your soundings. Culver City is the perfect place for me to live and work. My partner, my puppy and I love living here, it has a small town feel inside the big city of Los Angeles. These are a list of small business that we love.

Stanley's Wet Goods is great place to sip on a crisp glass of orange wine. They have the best happy hour deals and perfect cheese & charcuterie boards for a snack. Grab a bottle from their well stocked market on the way out.

The Ripped Bodice is a romance novel independent brick-and-mortar started by two sisters. They have a great selection of books and small gifts. I am always impressed by their fun and creative window display.

Midland Shop is the perfectly curated boutique shop. In their selection of high quality goods you can find the perfect gift. I literally want all of their inventory in my house.

Lundeen's Gift Shop is packed with amazing one of a kind funky trinkets and unique items. They have all kinds of stuff from cards to kid gifts to home decor. You can find the perfect housewarming gift for a friend here.

Drinks on top of Citizen Public Market at Bar Bohémien is the perfect place to get a craft-cocktail and great bird's eye view of all of Culver City.

Honey Kettle Fried Chicken has some of the best fried chicken in Los Angeles. Their fried chicken is cooked to perfection and don't even get me started on their pickles. Pro-tip order ahead to avoid a wait.

Pasta Sisters has totally perfected pasta. Their quality and fresh ingredients make for a perfect dinner or lunch. Plus they put bread on the every table when you sit down IYKYK.

To be honest there are so many coffee shops in Culver City it can be overwhelming. But I believe The Conservatory for coffee, tea & cocoa is one of the best. It has been part of the Culver City community since 1995. Their coffee and pastries combo is such a treat!

Jackson Market is tucked into the neighborhood side of Culver City, if you can find it, it is like a tiny oasis. It's the perfect spot to grab a breakfast sandwich on the weekend. I love eating in their lush garden area.
