Erin R Wolf grew up in the Garden State of New Jersey. She attended Montserrat College of Art in Massachusetts, where she discovered her passion for art and honed her skills under the guidance of mentors. Montserrat provided her with a supportive community of fellow artists and helped her find her own voice as an artist. After graduating in 2013, Wolf moved west in search of new opportunities and experiences. 
 
Wolf's move to Los Angeles in 2014 marked a significant turning point in her life, both personally and artistically. The majestic mountains and vast landscapes of Southern California captivated her from the moment she arrived, inspiring her to explore the region's beauty through her artwork. Wolf’s journey to the west provided inspiration, personal growth and a new perspective. Her artwork celebrates the region's stunning scenery by simplifying and abstracting it into clean shapes, organic lines, and colors. The warm and vibrant hues in her work evoke a sense of home.
 
Over her career, Wolf’s revisited and reworked the recurrent thematic elements of Southern California landscapes in her series “Neither Here Nor There” in 2018 and “Someplace: Here and Now” in 2019. Wolf’s new series “Explore More” reaffirms her commitment to the motif in dreamlike acrylic colors, inspired by her appreciation of growth and reflection. Her geometric landscapes guide the viewers through layers of colorful exhibitions and translucent shapes, with shifting light passing through the three dimensional acrylic work. “Explore More” series combines abstract landscapes that are created individually, and are pieced and grown together, inviting viewers to take time and appreciate the beautiful landscapes.
